Quality Assurance
The data produced by Neilson Research Corporation is used to protect the general public and environment. Our corporate policy is that there will be Quality Assurance activities performed in each department of the laboratory to authenticate that all analytical data reported will be scientifically sound, legally defensible, of known and documented quality, and will accurately reflect the samples submitted for analysis.

Quality Manual
Our Quality Manual outlines the policies and operational procedures associated with Neilson Research Corporation. Specific protocols for sample handling and storage, chain-of-custody, laboratory analyses, data reduction, corrective action, and reporting are described. All policies and procedures have been structured in accordance with the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) standards adopted in July 2005 and applicable EPA requirements, regulations, guidance, and technical standards.

Proficiency Testing
Neilson Research Corporation analyzed Proficiency Test (PT) samples two times per year from a NIST-approved PT provider for the analytes established by EPA for drinking water, wastewater, and soil matrices. The specific analytes and matrices analyzed are based on the current scope of the laboratory services.
